Payment & Insurance

Do You Take My Insurance?

Straight to the point…No. This is for a very important reason, though. By not being contracted with insurance providers I’m able to provide BETTER care for my patients.

Reimbursement rates for chiropractors and physical therapists have been on a steady decline for the last couple of decades. The response to this has generally been to increase the number of patients seen, and decrease the time spent with them so more patients can be seen. This can sometimes lead to decreased quality of care. On top of this, some services that may be necessary for treatment are not covered by some, if any, providers.

This means by not accepting insurance I have the freedom to build out my patient’s care plans without worrying about insurance dictating what I can and cannot do. In addition to this, it may be cheaper for many patients in the long run. High deductibles and lack of coverage for certain services mean you may be paying more even with insurance.

What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?

I accept HSA & FSA cards, all major credit cards, cash, or check.

Can I Still Use My Insurance Somehow?

Quite Possibly! Some insurance providers offer Out-of-Network benefits. So, once payment for the service is processed I can provide you with an invoice (Superbill) that can be submitted to your insurance provider. I cannot guarantee any degree of reimbursement from your provider, but I will provide you with all the information and resources required to submit for possible reimbursement!

Treatment & Care

Is Chiropractic Treatment Safe?

Chiropractic care is widely recognized as one of the safest non-drug and non-invasive forms of health care available for musculoskeletal conditions. Chiropractic, in general, has an excellent safety record. No health care treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects though and if you are concerned about associated risks feel free to ask. I’ll answer any and all questions you may have!

My approach to care also differs from traditional chiropractic care. So, while chiropractic treatment traditionally relies on adjusting, this is only one method I can use to help you get back on track toward your goals. If getting adjusted concerns or scares you just let me know and we’ll talk through it or avoid it entirely!

How Long is Each Session?

I schedule a full hour for each session while working with a patient. This allows me to give you my undivided attention and provide any care I believe is necessary without being rushed for time.

Will You Need to Take Xrays?

No, X-rays are almost always unnecessary for most patients seeking care. Unless there has been significant trauma or other justifiable reason, I won’t send out for imaging.

While an X-ray may be helpful in some situations, it is just a single snapshot of you standing still. Because our goal is to get you moving and feeling better i want to see how you move in real-time rather than jump straight to imaging.

It is a rare occasion that a patient will need to receive an X-ray, and if that is the case you will be referred out to a trusted radiologist to perform the X-ray.

How Many Sessions Will I Need?

Most care plans are between 6-8 sessions, but it really depends. Each patient is unique in the problems and obstacles they’re facing. So, figuring out what a care plan looks like is dependent on what we’re trying to accomplish and what goals have been set.

Scheduling & Packages

How Do I Schedule My First Appointment?

Scheduling is very easy! All Appointments can be booked HERE. You can also find any of the Schedule Now buttons throughout the website to take you where you need to go!

If you’re a New Patient or interested in learning more, you can select Free Phone Consultation, and we’ll chat a bit to find out what the best approach to care is and if we’re a good fit for each other!

If we didn’t set something up at your first visit, Returning Patients can select Follow-Up Session or contact me directly to get you on the schedule!

Can I Schedule Multiple Visits Ahead of Time?

Absolutely! We’ll always try to be at least one week ahead, but if you know what your month looks like then let’s get things set ahead of time!

What are Packages and How Do I Use Them?

If our plan of care involves 4 or more visits, you can prepay for a number of visits to save on cost of care and ensure the care plan is fully seen through! We’ll discuss whether this option is available once we’ve walked through what our approach to care is going to look like. If this option is open to you and you decide to go with it, the first session will automatically be included along with the number of sessions included in the package.
